The first establishment opened in Vilassar de Mar as a restaurant for social events such as weddings and business meetings. Around 1975, L’Atlàntida started offering market cuisine and introduced pizzas to the Maresme region; this establishment is still today a benchmark as a café and restaurant with uninterrupted kitchen service.
In 1995, La Botiga de L’Atlàntida (our shop) opened in Vilassar in response to demand for a takeaway and home service.
The efforts of its founder, Miguel Ferrer, and later of his entire family, the teamwork of its staff and the management have made L’Atlàntida grow to this day. In 2017, a new L’Atlàntida was opened in the Mataró Parc shopping centre, where dishes with a Mediterranean flavour and pizzas also take centre stage. Local ingredients and quality raw materials are its hallmark.
